Kratos: God of Cute

This is Kratos. A cute, lovable pooch that Katie saved from being put to sleep all because the family was too lazy to really look for a home for him. He's a six month old Pomeranian mix and is a total sweetheart. The previous family had named him Snickers, but does he really look like a Snickers? No! So, we all piled together and came up with the name Kratos, after the video game character from God of War. It doesn't really fit his personality, but oh well.
As cute as he might be, he was not very cute for the first half hour as I tried to drive him to my house as it's much easier to babysit a dog in your own home rather than someone else's home which happens to be an hour away.
The whole ride home, he had to sit in my lap. There was no pushing him into the passenger seat as it was painfully obvious that the seat was a deep, dark abyss that would swallow any unsuspecting dog whole. And if having this medium sized pup in my lap wasn't enough, he had to bark and howl because I was some strange lady taking him away from the only master who had ever really shown him love.
Once we got home though, everything went pretty nicely. That is, until.. I decided after a hard day of sushi eating and drawing with Katie, I needed a bath. I took a 20 minute shower and within that time, Kratos decides that my room is just not complete without two piles of dog crap and a puddle of puke right smack-dab in the middle.
And if that wasn't enough, my bed would obviously be ten times better with a puddle of pee right where my pillow would be.
After everything was cleaned up, I packed him into the truck and brought him to Petco to see if he'd like any of the treats or toys since he didn't have any. He sniffed every single toy but never found one he liked.. sampled every treat and didn't finish even one. Two hours later, we left empty handed.
About twenty minutes after we got home, he decided his favorite toy in the whole wide world would be my sock.
Well.. at least he's easy to please.
On another note, I start work tomorrow. I'll be waitressing in that little Japanese cuisine restaurant/sushi bar. I'm excited that I'm finally being scheduled and hired! I'm not sure who will be teaching me what to do though.. I'm really nervous, and I hope that I won't mess up too much.
